Since its creation on June 19, 1975, by Doña Candelaria Wolter de Roemmers and her children Alberto W. H. Roemmers and Hildegard Roemmers de Mocorrea, “FUNDACIÓN ALBERTO J. ROEMMERS” has played a significant role in supporting research, teaching and dissemination of health sciences, in memory of Don Alberto J. Roemmers.
Among the numerous awards and honors it has received over the years, “FUNDACIÓN ALBERTO J. ROEMMERS” has obtained recognition and prestige in academic and scientific fields, standing out Platinum Konex Award in 1998.
With each project and each initiative, “FUNDACIÓN ALBERTO J. ROEMEMRS” has demonstrated a commitment to excellence, fostering progress in medical science and significantly contributing to the improvement of the quality of life.
Research
Since 1979, “FUNDACIÓN ALBERTO J. ROEMMERS” has benefited over 1,000 research groups across the country by providing essential resources.
